My name is Jess Kebbell, and I started The Ruck And Maul at the beginning of this year to share my passion of all things rugby. I've been a fan of the sport for many years, finding myself becoming increasingly absorbed in everything about it. Rugby is such an emotive sport - it makes you shout, cheer, sing and even cry on occasion. There is so much about it that is exciting, and it brings people together like nothing I have ever seen before. Whether you are supporting club or country, the atmosphere can be incredible and the camaraderie between all fans is evident.
A self-professed supporter of Northampton Saints, I have had the pleasure and privilege of growing up and living amongst a community of huge rugby lovers. And nowadays, with social media, that community has expanded to include people all around the world who support a variety of teams. With the odd exception, everyone gets along and it's nice to have discussions with fans of other teams and be able to meet up for a drink with them with no problems.
On the blog I will be discussing the big news and stories throughout rugby union, as well as providing commentary and analysis on many different matches across many different tournaments, including the big one - the 2015 Rugby World Cup. I hope you enjoy reading, and do feel free to comment or get in contact with me if you have anything you want to say!
Thank you.
